I was excited to shoot this wedding because I knew two very talented girls worked on It : Alisson (creator of the wedding blog "Instant de Bonheur) for the wedding decoration and Laeticia for the floral decoration. And I wasn't disappointed, everything they did was so beautiful that I didn't know were to begin to shoot ! I loved Noemie's hairdress, so cute and 20's, she was perfect to have this kind of hairstyle.
I feel always a bit nostalgic when I think about Priscilla and Mathieu's wedding. It was a beautiful winter wedding and I was sooo pregnant ! It was my last wedding before I gave birth to Suzie, there was a very talented piano player and singer during the reception and I did my best to stay next to them for Suzie to hear this beautiful music from my belly:)
Each time I hear "Get lucky" from Daft Punk, I think about this wedding, so I think about It very often ! It was a fabulous wedding and I got along so well with Maud that I had the feeling to be a long time friend of her (and some guests thought we were friends). Maud wanted her wedding to be full of liberty flowers and retro styled and chose the magnificient castle of Montgobert for the cocktail and the reception.
When I first met Myriam and Jean and they explained me how their wedding was going to look like, I knew immediatly that It was going to be a unique day. They wanted the 1900's century to be their theme and ask everybody to wear in the style of these years, and everybody played the game ! That was so surprising to see men with high hat and curly moustaches as men did in the beginning of last century.
Emilie is French and Tim is english, they chose to get married in the most romantic town in the world, Paris. The religious celebration took place in the beautiful American Church of Paris (I was surprised to learn there was such a place in Paris) and the party was at the Pavillon Dauphine, were I had already the chance to shoot the wedding of Melissa and Charles last year.
