It's been a long time I was dreaming of a Sakura tree in my garden and I found a cute and beautiful one this year ! It was the occasion to gardening with my son, a nice moment... I can't wait to see It growing and blossoming next spring !
Bokeh is a Japanese photographic technique that isolate a subject and create a beautiful blur all around, I love using my macro to do some bokeh, especially for flowers. I have beautiful little pink flowers in my garden, I don't know what kind of flowers It is but I love them. And the heart shaped ones are called "coeur de marie" in France, they are so beautiful, It's my daughter's favourite flowers.
This is my birthday cake, I made It myself. It's a very simple chocolate cake inspired by a recipe of Cyril Lignac. I just cut It in the middle, put some mascarpone inside of It and on the top of It. And I had fun to decorate It with some macarons and rapsberries, cute and simple, the kind of cake I love to make !
This is a quite beautiful cake considering the few minutes I needed to do It. Though It's finally just cake decorating, It might be a good idea when some friends are coming for tea and you didn't have the time to prepare anything. Well, you just have to buy a simple cake, mine was a "cake breton", typically French, I cut It to make 3 layers and I melted Cream cheese, crusted "Biscuits roses" but you can also use crusted oreos, rose sirup to put between the layers. I put the rest of the cream on the top of the cake and decorated It with roses. And here It Is : a 5 minutes layer cake !
I made this cake for my birthday last week, I wanted a little Japanese touch on It so I made some little sakura flowers. I had so much pleasure doing that !
I forgot the name of these flowers but I like them in particular because of the branches. They look like branches of fir tree and have the same smell, noel's small stench at this beginning of spring!
