This event took place recently in the beautiful "Jardins d'acclimatations" in Paris to raise funds for Japan. As a Japan fan I couldn't miss that and I don't regret It, the takoyaki I ate was enough to worth It !
I made this cake for my birthday last week, I wanted a little Japanese touch on It so I made some little sakura flowers. I had so much pleasure doing that !
We are transported in Japan as soon as we penetrate into the garden of the museum Albert Kahn. It is difficult to believe but we are in the heart of Paris! The museum is also interesting and deserves a small visit.
My friend Mariko sent me some photos taken in Japan of sakura flowers. I am mad of these flowers, I too much look forward to being able to see their bloom one day over there.
