September's Bliss

This wedding made me think of one of my favourite movies "Midnight in Paris" for the 20's style, the bride's dress, her awesome headband and all the lovely details Dorothée settled for her beautiful day. Dorothée and Julien chose to celebrate their wedding at the city hall and in a public ceremony instead of church. The public ceremony took place in the garden of their reception hall and to avoid their guests to be bored they ponctuated their ceremony with funny little events like the groom holding a cardboard on which was written "Hey girls call me at this number...", a very unique wedding.

I discovered for the first time this beautiful place very recently and I fell in love. Next time I have to take my baby with me, It's such a great place for kids.

Here are some pics of my last trip to London, I wanted to discover Portobello Road because I heard It was full of artists galleries, second hand shops and delicious bakeries, I absolutely advice "Hummingbird bakery", their cupcakes are the best I ever ate ! Everything I saw made me want to come back soon, next time I would love to discover Notting Hill.

I just loved the outside ceremony ! Eva hung little bird cages, decorated eggs, hearts and colorful ribbons on the trees which makes the ceremony very poetic.

Eva and Patrick are a couple from the Netherlands, Their wedding made me begin so beautifully my wedding season ! They chose the magnificient castle of Mairy-sur-Marne to celebrate this day with their family and friends came from the Netherlands for the occasion. The ceremony took place in the garden of the castle in the American way (I love this kind of ceremony !!!), It was a wonderful moment full of emotions. Eva decorated everything herself excepts some accessories that she bought on Etsy. I especially loved the cocktail, instead of the traditionnal "amuse-bouches" were croissants and other french pastries served with tea. The beautiful cocktail table made me think of "Alice in wonderland" with all these retro tea cups, old boxes and peonies.

I had the pleasure to shoot again my lovely little neighbours a few weeks ago, they are so joyful and playful that It was really easy to capture their beauty.
